Visitor Information
Wind energy has a great role for our future for the energy and to prevent the climate change and it is a sector that is growing rapidly in the world. Production, whose added value will be high, creation of employment and obtaining a share from the energy market opportunities shall be available. This is so much so that, the tax income, which is to be obtained from this huge market and also the fact that the equipments and the production plants that are to be installed will contribute to the employment, should be considered. We are stepping forward today for a market, whose long term yielding is rather high.
The fact that Turkey will transform into a huge market during the process that is progressing is becoming attractive for countries, like Germany and Spain, which are leaders in the wind energy sector. These countries shall move some of their productions to Turkey following drafting of the laws and when they become law. The investment, which has been carried out during the last year in the energy sector, has reached to the highest level despite the global crises. Turkey has become the country, which has shown the most increase in the world for the installed power, by increasing its wind energy investments by 196% compared to the previous year. The equipment market size, which has been created only by the planning of 10.000 MW wind power plants to be put into operation within 10 years, has been foreseen as 10 billion of dollars.
Here, WindTech Wind Energy Trade Fair will have a meeting platform function at this point. National and International wind energy industries and wind technologies shall meet under a specialized exhibition between the dates of 13-16 October 2010 in Istanbul for the first time in Turkey.
